"Like a good Islay dram, this is a celebration of malted barley and peat smoke. Earthy smoke dominates the aroma; on the palate there’s fruity sweetness together with a firm whisp of peat; it’s deliciously smooth, full and well rounded but not overwhelming. Hints of liquorice and floral-citrus notes appear amongst dank campfire smoke as a beery bitterness creeps up, balanced with sweet malt and alcohol warmth. The flavours linger and develop in a long, tingling finish."
